ID-ing the body

Post by beavis on Tue Feb 15, 2011 2:56 am

Hi!

I have noticed this guitar body for sale. The only info is that it's an 80s survivor and made in Asia. It looks familiar though... I was thinking Korean westone such as the dimension.

What do you think?

it looks very similar to the "unknown model 3" guitars on other threads. Search for 'model' and at least 3 posts come up. I it's the electrics cavity cover that looked familiar to me.
Hope this helps and good luck

Ian

You're right IanQ, it does look similar. There are still a few differences though: location of the back cavities and the pots and switches holes (looks like this one used a gibson type toggle) and the neck screws are also different.

I'm wondering if this isn't an Aria pro II. Some models look kind of similar no?

Guess we'll never know for sure right?

Mustn't be a westone then.

In that case, it's just as good not knowing what it is pirat
