corsair, barry, westbone & beavis

Post by rebuild on Sat Apr 14, 2012 5:50 pm

Hey, thanks for all your help guys, especially you, corsair. The 6 mm trem arms from stew-mac arrived today and they are a perfect fit. And I mean PERFECT too. Wind 'em in about 5 or 6 or 7 turns and there is no slack at all in the up/down motion when being used. Now all my beloved Westones each have their own whammy bar. No more sharing. Thanks again you guys. More later...rebuild.

Glad you're sorted out.
How about some photos of these 'tones?

Hear hear!
Ive always tinkered a little, just basic setups etc, maybe its the early onset of a healthy mid-life crisis, but I find myself wanting to buy/borrow every ill treated guitar I see and fix it up to the best of my abilities!
long may it continue.

It beats paying someone else to do it!
