AER200....In Spanish

Stumbled across this just now. It's there, but I can't translate hardly any of it, and it's ridiculously expensive. Question, thoughts, comments?

Sarcaster?

Quick iPhone translation:

Buy guitar alvarez trevor rabin signature AER200RD made in Japan in 1990, is a great guitar, I have only seen 3 in my life here in Mexico, is a high-end guitar made in Japan, excellent finish, quality materials, excellent sound, its
body is made in carved, arched, solid maple neck thru construction with maple arm also made very light and ergonomic, this guitar is very comfortable, its rosewood fingerboard is done with 24 jumbo frets, his classic mother of pearl inlaid in
form of diagonal lines, machinery Gotoh Japanese Japanese Gotoh bridge fixed feed-through body anchored to the body telecaster style that gives a great sustain, a set of tablets in HH configuration document controlled by trevor rabin a tone, volume and pickup selector
5 position gives excellent sound quality, this guitar is in excellent condition, also left Barata not think so, cotícenla and realize that this very cheap.

Wow - nice one. The only other 200I have ever seen for sale before was a black one a couple of years back and it was on the same website. I guess the 200's were big south of the border.

3900 is way out of my league, but it is nice that they have a 12 month payment option Very Happy

That would be about 275 USD if it is peso's for the AER200. Now that is a deal, but would they ship?

Great minds! I actually wondered if it was pesos myself! I'm sure they would ship, but you would have to ask them, so be sure to have Google translate ready. haha

You're right. It has to be pesos. 800 bucks for a Floyd Rose system? No way.

Given any more thought to this? In US currency, the guitar would be less than 300! Shocked I was going to ask the seller a few questions and brushed up on my Spanish, but you have to register (of course). Would/Could it be worth the work?

The seller doesn't have the best seller rating. If I was not saving at the moment I would think about going for it - I really want a 200

I noticed the rating seemed a bit low. My main concern was that the site might be sketchy, like a foreign craigslist, but it's their Ebay apparently.

Spain hasn't used the peso for years; they're part of the EU. hence they use the euro...

My AER200. Love It! Traded a fiberglass 8' long canoe for it. I think it was a good trade!

Cheers!

Sir I would trade you my AER300 for it plus the shipping of both guitars today. the 300 that I have is 2 single coils, one HB. Set neck just like yours and is red - got some pics if you would like. It has a Floyd Rose licensed Trem and is in great condition. Most 300's were bolt on, but this is the same neck as yours, really the only difference is you have 2 HB's and a hardtail. Let me know eh

Nice! Would you be interested in trading up to a 14' MirroCraft for it, then? Thinking

Gah... It's so tempting to snatch it. I just can't get past the language barrier. Sure, there's Google translate and all, but what if you miss something? And I guess I'm still worried about if it's gonna be sketchy or not. haha

Nice black AER300, by the way UbiquityStudios!

If you don't try to get it, you'll be kicking yourself until St. Swithin's Day 2025! No no no

If they want the sale they'll likely be motivated to meet you half way on the language front.
Do it.

Hah!

I have a 16' Back Country Phantom flats boat! It's a 2002 - the last year Back Country was in business. Ranger boats bought the molds and there were several models of Ranger available that used the same lower hull but with a custom Ranger upper hull - they may still use this lower hull design.

With a 60hp Yamaha 2-stroke it floats in 6" and poles like a dream. And if you get stuck, you just jump out and push! Top speed is about 33, hole shot is killer, and with that big 20 gallon tank and that little 2-stroke, range is spectacular. It even handles the chop pretty well. And while it only goes half the speed of my previous bass boat it's really a better and more stable fishing platform. Two upgrades that I can't afford - a 24v gigantic trolling motor and a power pole.

I spend a week or two in the gulf every year, but had to go to SC on a family trip this past May, so may not get to go to the gulf this year at all.

Too much sanding - Tomorrow I get my Spectrum body for the Rabin 12 rebuild and it's red - gotta be white for the replica

I'll be completely honest, my interest in this guitar was for sarcaster. Swear to God. I thought, "Hey! He wants one of these! Maybe I'll trade him for something!" If he showed no interest, I would throw a trem system on there and make it a Rabin 1. haha

People have been looking out for me since I joined, so I thought I might try to return the favor.

I would love to have the 200, but I'm saving for my wedding so while I can get away with buying some parts, I'm holding off on guitars. So Once October passes, I will be ready to dig in to finding the guitars I still need.
