Beginning the task

Post by Kremen53 on Wed Jun 20, 2012 5:59 am

Newbie 'Thunder 1A' owner (Serial 4071756), please be patient and understanding, (not a regular forum user etc.)

Are there any photos of the the innards of the 1A?

I found the circuit pages OK and can (slowly) follow these but close up pictures are worth a thousand words.

The two batteries, are they in series or separate? My battery compartment is completely empty so I've no idea what I should see fitted there.

The rest of the inside compartments are a mess too. A previous owner having cut through all the wires so it's just a total tangled mess.

My 'Thunder' is all black finish but doesn't appear to have any trace of a Westone decal on the headstock, I assume there should have been one at one stage or do they easily come off. (No sign of flakes of a decal or damage to the finish there).

Pointers (and pictures) to where to start 'the task' much appreciated.

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

I only own one Thunder, a Thunder lll and it's a different animal.
I'm sure some of the other members could provide you with pics and maybe they were posted before but I can't seem to find them as of now.
