Lefty i know (i play right), so theres a premium.. my question is as a potential buyer, is it worth paying that bit extra for the through neck II? Beautiful guitars, but so are I and III from my experience. Is it worth me paying that bit extra? i have about 250 to spend..

Apologies if its a bit nooby..i just want a guitar to make me smile.

Two's and Three's are rarer and, in my view, worth paying more for.

I have neither owned nor played either (only have a few Thunder 1's at the moment), but I have many set neck Matsumoku guitars and I can thoroughly recommend them.

Looking at this guitar. It might say IIA on the truss cover but doesn't have the toggle switches of the IIA.

Might have pull/push switches on the pots as they look like switchmaster type.

Might be an idea to ask for better photos or info. A photo of the back should revel a battery cover.

Either way I've owned and own Thunder II's both active and passive. A great guitar well worth 250 of anyone's dosh. One of Westones best guitars in my view and many others who've played them.

I enquired about this one.

It is an active with active on/off switch and 2 pull/push controls with active EQ. Switchmaster knobs.

Never seen that kind of setup.

Subject to change....

He's added some more pictures.
