Thanks, all, for your input. I like the logo version from the catalog that Mike shared, but will likely first produce the subtle "cat & bird" design first. I hope to produce the others that have been suggested, and per Chad's comment, I AM already working on one that features a huge group of silhouettes (or line drawings - like technical images... I haven't decided which way its going yet!).

For a little odd background on this ongoing shirt venture, the shirts are silkscreened by a friend who has a small shirt printing shop. He is deaf and a really pleasant guy with some unfortunate challenges in his life. We have fun conversations that are alot of quick scribble handed back & forth. Presently, his screen size is limited to 14" square, so for the moment, that is the design area that I am working with (which is fine for most designs). Eventually I want to do full-coverage shirts (and have vendor resources for doing so), but I am keeping things with my guy for the moment b/c he needs the work and I hate to take anything away from him. I never print more than two dozen at a time (because I don't want a closet full of these - despite loving them - and because finances aren't what they used to be). At the moment I have about a dozen LARGE and XXL brown Electra shirts, and a few Black Headstock shirts in LARGE. Sale of those could help make the other designs move forward (since I just reinvest the money from one into the next)...

I have one of each of those shirts and will freely vouch for the shirt quality and the detail of the silkscreening.

These are excellent shirts!

How about :
On the left arm only! Understated, sophisticated. Maybe a tiny bit smaller and higher.

My bad take on image manipulation, shopping Trevor Rabin's head on a model showing a T-shirt. clown The angle is off and I am still learning Gimp, it's different from the former progs I used have to get used to it. Still learning and often confused. I probably shouldn't have sharpened his eyes.

Anyway it's about an idea for a shirt design a bit more low profile and subtle, maybe it's just me but I like it that way.
