Shocked and surprised!

Post by Brainfertilizer on Sun Mar 10, 2013 4:51 pm

This:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200902101490&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBUAA:US:3160

Original case, good condition, went for just under $250 total, shipped...

I wish I would have been paying attention, I would have pushed that up a little higher or gotten a great deal myself.

I was previous occupied and decided against throwing in on this one. I already have one courtesy of Mike anyway.

I've pretty much quit posting threads on x275 / x300 listings on ebay, CL and the like as there seem to be a couple-three available at any given time. It makes you wonder how many of the those bolt-on models were built in total anyway. It must have run into the thousands or so.

Yeah I had a bid in on that one, somehow got out bid at the last minute.

But I did get this one:

Hope it's from one of the forum members Smile
What's the difference between the X275 and X300?

The humbucker on the x275 is Magnaflux I vs the x300's Magnaflux II, but not sure what tonal differences there are.

The neck on the x300 is painted black, the neck on the x275 is oil-finished.

The x275 headstock is just pointy. The x300 headstock is somewhat rounded on the edges, more like the x390 headstock.

Use a sniping service like esnipe and never have this problem again, unless you didn't go high enough with the snipe.
