Post by G.A.S. man on Mon Apr 08, 2013 11:19 am

Not going to drag this one out as have had guitar for about 2 weeks now....
Saw it on ebay on a Saturday night at work and bought it on a buy it now for 150:00...
Picked it up on the Monday Morning....
For once it was better than described in the ad with the hanging tag and a set of original strings an the trem arm all there.....

It's a natural satin Peavey Horizon II from about 84 an made in the USA...

Fantastic build Quality and a very solid and underrated guitar from a overlooked manufacturer..
Control knobs aren't original but replacements on way as i type....
150:00 well spent and other under 200 bargain....
More pic's to follow .....

Those American Peavey guitars are really nice, remind me of Mats. I have a Peavey Vandenberg. These Peavey guitars are CHEAP right now, an excellent buy. Not many know of these, like not many know about Uncle Mats.

Your Horizon is great looker, I bet you're impressed!

Yes these are awesome quality instruments. I own a natural finish T-40 Bass and a beauty of a teaburst finished T-60 and love them both.Congrats on a great find.
