Padauk 1 in Dorset

Post by Thunder-Chunder on Tue Aug 20, 2013 1:47 pm

Stumbled on this whilst working the graveyard shift last night, out of my budget but looks to have lived a quiet life tucked away in its box.

As played by Dave Brock I think is the phrase (Hawkwind), so not this guitar.
741 pre-amp brought back memories, ie a 70s op-amp of fairly poor performance.

450 notes..? Don't think so.. It's not as if you're magically going to play like Dave Brock, if you buy it, anyway - is it..?! Even if he had ever played the actual guitar in question..

He did play one actually, had 'Warrior on the Edge of Time' cover painted on it and went for a tidy price on ebay a few years back if I remember rightly...  Reckon this is it and Dave (gotta love the pose) LINK
