If you live close to Bristol Uk, check this out

Post by Meadows on Sat Jan 18, 2014 3:25 am

Could be worth checking out, if I lived closer I probably would.

I have a guitar-related friend in Bristol(Mr Jooky, for anyone who also hangs out on the Fretboard.co.uk) I'm sure that he'd pick it up for me...

It would be a bit naughty for me to do that as I haven't mentioned it to my friend and I live 120 miles away, but he might be persuaded...

I think we all knew how that was going to turn out ladies and gentlemen (sorry supercharger  Embarassed ) but at least the guitar gets to live in Monmouthshire. I'd also like to thank MEADOWS (as would the vendor no doubt, there wouldn't have been a bidding war otherwise) for the tip-off.

Supercharger, to really rub salt in the wound, why not come and see it in concert on Friday at The Fountain at Trellech Grange Wink (just outside Tintern).

Ha!  We did, did we???

No worries The Don, I'm sure the FX is going to a very good home. It was going to be in Monmouthshire one way or the other  Very Happy

Had both of us not been in there the other could have had an amazing bargain   Laughing   Next time we should talk first and save some money!   Laughing

I'd very much like to meet you one day but I can't see you play this Friday (band practice - and I need it, I only did my first gig 2 weeks ago!!!)...

I  must admit that I do have my eye on another gee-tar at the moment (not Westone [but kind of related] and not ebay)... But I'm getting VERY frustrated as I've sent 6 messages to the seller and haven't had a reply yet.  I'll let you know what it is if I'm sucessful, I'm not mentioning details now!!!!  Not that I wouldn't trust you NOT to buy it of course.....

Very best wishes,
David.

I'm pretty sure that it's perfectly OK to publicise any upcoming gigs - let us know when you've got some coming up and maybe we can pitch up.

OK by me.
Depending on response, sounds like another Forum would be helpful so they don't get lost and are easier to find.
