I know.. and am seriously GAS'ing; unfortunately with imminent emigration fast approaching, 'acquiring' new guitars isn't on the radar, ... or so I'm told! Crying or Very sad And it looks complete and relatively un-thrashed; will some else in here buy it and tell me all about it please!! Laughing

And there's also a bee-yoo-tiful Spectrum FX with a heel-less neck on Trademe

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=219672766

; and that's only 100 miles away!! And a 400mm long lens for my camera; ...*sigh* Sad Sad

O man, that's completely unthrashed!!

Shocked Perhaps you simply need to file a good proposal. Couch the request to make it more digestible somehow. tongue

Oh, how I wish it were that easy; I may have used up all excuses and reasons over the years!! Very Happy (No, dear; this one is different because...)

That pink think is just too gorgeous....

Never thought I'd say it about a pink axe, but there _is_ something about it.

Gee, that's a goodie; it's missing the TRC and the wee allen key holder but otherwise... once again, if I were a little closer... Wink

I have to agree that the "pink" colour is kind of appealing, although it leans more towards a tasty "salmon" hue on my monitor--not quite so girly looking (sorry Polly).

Both the Corsair and Spectrum look to be in fantastic condition but alas, even with the recent strength in the Canadian Loonie closing the gap in the US exchange rate, I still can't scrape the coin together. And then there's that damn shipping!!

'Just shelled out for a school trip for my teen aged son to Montreal, on top of installing new quartz counter tops and sink, etc., for the kitchen ($$$!!). All that after having had the exterior of the house painted and a new stone walkway installed. (more $$$!!)

So, something for the kid, the wife, and the house. Bugger all for the old man. No
So it goes.

I console myself with the fact that I don't have or need 3 pickups on my guitars. Too many settings to fiddle with and I always end up hitting the centre one unmercifully with the pick. tongue
(Rhythm guy and singer 'ya know?)

Yep, Barry you nailed it. I'm seeing kind of a "tasty salmon" je n'est ce quoi vibe on my side too. Nice color.

Laughing We'll take the slings and arrows as a group, yes?

However, I do think the term "pink" in this context should be renamed to "tasty salmon". Barry is the senior author on that mod.

I vote for calling it pink. I would prefer not to associate a guitar with delicious salmon.

Gawd, I hope not; it's big enough already! But you misunderstand me, people; I do not yet own one but I shall do, one day!! Twisted Evil And the VA900 that was my workhorse for all those years didn't make my arse look big either; it was the flouro orange jumpsuits a la Dave Hill that did that!! And if you don't know who Dave Hill is, then you're really too young to be reading this! Laughing
