Restoring Plastic Finishes

Post by Barry on Mon Sep 08, 2014 11:18 am

Our pal, Trevor, over at the Mats Forum, is a major collector and a top notch restorer of Mats-made instruments. His work is outstanding and the guitars and basses look brand new when he's done with them. Honestly, just breath taking work.

He recently turned his considerable skills and experience to restoring the plastic components of these instruments, with similarly amazing results. If you are faced with a nicely restored body but the plastic covers and mounts, etc, are still looking tired, scratched and scuffed, this might be what you're looking for: LINK
