Thanks Don.
Yeah, poor ole Buffalo gets hammered unmercifully. They are situated at the end of Lake Erie right in the path of the prevailing wind off Lake Erie. It's like having a snow cannon pointed at the city.

Fortunately for us, we're in the "banana belt" to the North and West of there. The climate is much more moderate and there is no wind effect. At least, that's what the neighbours say. We'll see!

Must say, looks good so far, but to answer your question, no, nothing on the walls. There are a lot of windows and a lot of irregular areas on the walls with various juts and angles concealing duct work, electrical panel etc. I prefer them safe in their cases anyway.
Pix to come, you know, eventually...still 2/3 of the room left to organize.

I bit the bullet and got me one o' them new fangled phones to replace my old one which came down with a case of blown pixels.
I was testing out the camera and thought I'd finally get around to posting a few pix of daddy's new "music room". It's a bit more confined than my last setup back in Milton, but it's cozier and pleasant enough. It's actually one end of a very large room, the other end being approximately twice this size and loaded up with computers, desks, furniture and TV's, etc (my "office").

For them wot cares...you're looking at a Vantage Entertainar, a Vantage VS600, and a Westone Spectrum SX (mostly hidden from view on the 3 rack at the rear) and a Vintage (not Vantage) VEC380 acoustic/electric.

Guitar amps that can be seen include my trusty little VOX DA5 (green), Danelectro Nifty Fifty, and my 1965 Danelectro DM25. Just barely visible under the keyboard stand is a Washburn SouthSide Jnr. VGA15, and my Roland Cube 100 is in the corner under cover next to the rack of guitars to the right (see last pic).

Above the Danelectro amp are two relatively low powered Yorkville Sound PA amps, one of which is nearly completely buggered. These are strictly for home/practice use. Not enough balls for a real gig. The corner speakers are angled away from the mic to cut down feed back in this small space. Not the best set up but I prefer to face out to the rest of the room rather than turn my back on it.

Back in the corner behind the VOX, is my Yorkville powered floor monitor, not currently in use.

Misc. hard shell cased guitars that won't fit in the standard floor rack.
My old gigging amp, a 100 watt Roland Cube, is under the black cover at left. The green bag is my old gig bag full of cables connectors, mics, and other stuff I needed on the job.

I don't need an airplane hangar like Mike does, but it's still a workable arrangement and neat enough to keep "she who must be obeyed" off my back. And...dare I say it...there's likely a wee bit of room available for an addition...or two.  Twisted Evil

Nice to see that rhyming slang is alive and well on the other side of the pond!

Doesn't it rip yer undies to have stuff stored away in cases? Mind you, yours at least are inside the house! I do think, though, that a few on the walls would be nice....

.... just sayin'!

Very Happy

Precious little wall space mate, and I find it's very convenient to have the current rotation right at hand without having to traverse the room. (lazy bugger)

If I plop 2 more in the stands either side of the mic, I can easily have 6 out at any one time which is about 20% of the collection, more than enough to satisfy any immediate urges, um, you know, music wise. Embarassed
