Thanks for that gruesome reminder John.
Just seeing that currency comparison reminds me of how much our dollar has gone into the toilet since our election last Fall.

I'm never gonna own a Rainbow. Crying or Very sad

Buy it John!!
Don't see many down your way and that's a top bit of kit and a decent price.

Mate, I don't like semis although I did think about it for a nanosecond!

You're right about the scarcity, though, and that's the first Westone I've seen for a good few months!

Thought you were after a white one, Rainbow that is. In your Spandou Ballet phase...

Sprung by my New Romantic roots!

Whilst I have expressed admiration for the Kemp guitar - and I'm sure I've seen Alex Lifeson with a white Gibson ES 335! -  "after one" is a bit strong; I'd give thought to acquiring one if it came about but would probably pass it up as I don't use the ones I've got!

That sunburst in NZ just does absolutely nothing for me at all... can't explain it as it is, without doubt, a beautiful example of the type, eh!

I saw that one on eBay.

THe lacquer finish on it looks a bit "grainy" though, like it has been re-finished on the front.
