Over at the Mats forum we were privileged to have been visited by a Japanese Aria Pro II collector and Matsumoku historian of sorts who lives in Matsumoto City the home not only of Matsumoku, but many other well known instrument makers.
Communicating with us via translation software, he treated us to many gorgeous pictures of his guitars and his city, as well as some historical pictures of the Mats plant and the current location which has been turned into a park, complete with a memorial to the Matsumoku workers.
Adding these pictures to our History section fills in a little bit more our understanding and appreciation of this extraordinary company and the era in which it thrived. A new section has been added to the main History page, or you can go directly to the new page HERE.
I hope you enjoy it.
