Hey Mike, I was re-reading this post and looking at all the work you put into this project. But you left us hanging.

Do you have any pix of the final finished work?

well actually, the paint and finish work on the guitar has not been done.  Look Over There

shortly after the reconstruction part of the guitar project was completed, i had to prepare for the second phase of a major remodel job on our home. and due to complications, the house remodel has been delayed again and again. i think it is finally ready to commence in about 1-2 weeks.

mostly all my guitar stuff has been placed in storage (again) and i haven't had time to do any sort of tinkering or repairs or anything much at all anyhow. maybe once the actual construction begins i'll be able to take up the project and finish it off.

i'll post up some pics whenever it happens, but at this time, i can't even guess when that might be. Crying or Very sad

Bummer. We went through 7 levels of heck with the move in 2015 and the renos to our new place, so I can dig it.

yeah me too.
moving from one house to another is a PITA! Plus a remodel project to complete on the old home, then gotta put it up for sale. but almost done now.

i have only this week started to unpack my guitar stuff at the new home. (started moving stuff back in May, now it is end of August).

my problem is that i've got 10 pounds of stuff to put in a 5 pound box. our new home is slightly larger inside but i no longer have a shed, or any storage space in the garage (my wife insists on parking her car in there, go figure?!)

it is top of my list of projects to pursue once things get a bit more organized here.
