"Rising Sun" Spectrum LX (CAN)

Post by Barry on Sun Aug 06, 2017 12:47 am

Hey, dig this!
In good shape but, of course, missing the string lock and the spring cover.

Cheap! Cheap! Cheap!  CAD$75 w/HSC!! LINK

And check out the circular knob configuration, looks like that might have been the original design. Serial # puts in July compared to Dimension IV Addict's which was made in November and has the normal in-line layout. Correction: Volume knob was moved! (duh) Shouldn't do this stuff late at night  Neutral

Any members near Ottawa should grab this baby.

It had 144 views by the time I got to it and contacted the seller.  Sure it was out the door and the celebration had begun.

That's the guitar you told me you wanted before you bought my X275... too bad you missed out on it like I missed out on that black X390 on Ebay.

Thanks, my friend. When I first came to this site, it was on a mission to find two guitars I had as a kid. A pink Pantera and that rising sun spectrum. Your guitar was way sharper than my old Pantera (and I got a lot of grief for the pink - even back in the day), and it turned out I liked the old bridge better too. With the spectrum tho, I really want to get the exact guitar I had. It was with me in my yearbook photo, all my first band pics, and my old friends still ask me about it.Just me luck it's the rarest one in the universe....

I want to post a heartfelt thank you to Gittarasaurus for helping me to recover a special guitar from my childhood, and for being an all-around good guy. Thanks Mike.
