Rainbow I - UK auction - 14/09/2017

no not ebay
an actual auction, although a bit more modern with bidding available in the room, absentee commission bid, telephone bid and live internet

200-400 estimate with a 24% buyers premium

also if you're a left handed fan of The Cure they have quite a few of Perry Bamonte's guitars in the same auction

I missed that when I went looking through their catalogue earlier. Looks nice.

If you can't collect it though, you need to add another 40 to get it posted to you. It can end up an expensive way to buy...

don't think its the way to buy for me
if I was in the room I'd probably get dragged into the auction and go way over my budget

Been down there many times. Some of their descriptions are way of the mark. Seen fingerboards coming adrift with no mention at all and other discrepancies.
Best to go to the viewing a day or so beforehand.

Things move fast, have to keep your wits about you or it can cost a bomb!
