I suspect that's been re-finished as I cannot see any binding, and I don't think it was offeed in purple! Is the stringlock there? My old eyes can't see....

That's quite nice, though....

Ah, yep... I see 'em now. Thank you. Bridge looks like a TRS 101...

... i've seen professional musicians with wires all over the headstock. i've a vague idea that it's supposed to be 'cool' ... but don't quote me.

Mostly either laziness, or the lack of a cutting tool methinks, especially with younger players. Saw quite a few in the shop "back in the day".

I look upon this as a safety hazard if nothing else. A poke with a string end is no fun, especially in the face.

Well the colour is original and I'd say it's Ultra Violet as in the '89 New Horizons' catalogue. Also the trem is a TRS 101.

More than likely found some old stock and jazzed it up with the colours they were spraying at the time. Who knows but it's certainly original paint.

Well done Damian.
Uh, or should we now address you as "Your Royal Purpleness"?

Those are comfortable heels.

Is it solid wood or plywood?  The Dimensions of this era were plywood, which is why I ask.
