How not to 'improve' a guitar!!!

Post by DuoFuzz on Mon Nov 09, 2009 9:03 am

While doing my daily rummage around the dark recesses of FleaBay UK I found this gem that I had to show on here, just for a chuckle
Don't worry, no Westones were desecrated, it's only an Encore Rickenbacker copy but read the bullshi...er..poop and check out the third pic, it's a corker!

RICKENBACKER 325/350 ENCORE COPY. EXTREMELY RARE!!!

Obviously the seller has a sense of humour ,

"Originally the neck of this guitar was bolt-on however it has since been professionally glued into the body and is now a ‘fixed’ neck like on the official Rickenbacker’s. The screws on the back of the guitar are still slightly visible through the finish but it’s only on the back of the guitar and doesn't really affect the aesthetics of this beautiful instrument, just thought I’d mention it............With the modifications that have been added to this guitar it truly is a one-of-a-kind..............I guarantee that you won’t find a finer specimen at this price!!! "

And how much for this "rare, professionally modded" Encore Ricky copy? Sit down, hold on to your sides and lower jaw......ready!

£550 'Buy It Now' OR 'Best Offer'! Ha ha ha ha haaaaa

Hope this give you as big a laugh as it gave me,

DAN.

John, what "appropriate ammunition" do you prescribe for the hit man to whack this seller?

A message needs to be sent.

This behaviour must be stopped.

- what a tit! I wouldn't waste the ammo; a large rock would do!! It'll be interesting to see what Rickenbacker do as they're quite bolsie when it comes to using their name like this; ask anyone selling an Electra $001 copy!!

I wondered about that too.
It should be fun to watch as this seller has his nut sack torn from his warm nether regions by the Ricky Police.

A large rock works for me. rabbit
