yet another travesty...

...ffs; why can't people leave things alone?! Not just the neck/body thing - different h/b, FR bridge, knobs swapped out and no stringlock...

Haha, axe murderer, clever! I have to say, it does look kind of neat. It's too bad they ruined two guitars to make one kind of neat one, but what can you do? On the other hand, who knows the circumstances behind this guitar? Maybe the Dimension owner broke the body somehow, found the Spectrum body with no pickups or hardware, and just decided to put it all together? Granted the chances of that are low, but it's the only way to respect what's been done here and I'd like to be optimistic. It's not like the auction says anything about it.

I would be very suspicious of the intonation. I wonder what the measurement is from bridge to nut on this guitar???? I bet that guitar cannot be tuned to 440. Be prepared to shave down the neck (possibly sacrificing a fret or two) or moving the bridge (which may or may not be hidden under the new placement). I’d stay away unless you want a parts guitar or you tune down a step or more. Just my thoughts…now my thoughts are of pancakes…Mmmmmmm.
