1984 Thunder I (UK)

Post by DuoFuzz on Wed Nov 11, 2009 5:09 pm

This appeared a few days ago on ePain UK so I thought I'd chuck it on the list - WESTONE THUNDER 1 GUITAR. MATSUMOKU. 1984.

Nice original condition this one, MMK45's, factory Light Oak finish and a clean looking bridge. As you can see, this one hasn't escaped getting mugged for it's brass knobs either. Why god why?!?

( I'm with Barry and his theory of the brass robbing flying monkeys that only seem to target Westone control knobs. This has to be true, nothing else can explain it! )

£99.00 - Starting Bid

The reason why most brass knobs are missing(me thinks) is that they tarnished and looked pretty crap; so folk changed them for something a bit better looking(regrets) and just got lost, somewhere, somehow. Seems to be a call for these now. Racing????

I see that he's found the knobs now. Not long to go and still only £99.

Well that was exciting to watch!

All quiet on the western front until 2 minutes before the end, then all hell breaks loose. £155 was the price.

Anyone going to do an "I am Spartacus" or are we to guess? Suspect

Tried again with the photo but for some reason its just not working.

It shows however two thunder I`s and a thunder I-A all in light oak finish.

Apart from the odd dink and slight buckle rash all are in good condition.
